Residential application and use
Use Solid Rain® to keep your lawns, shade, fruit and ornamental trees, garden beds, raised garden beds, potted plants, food forests and off-grid properties sufficiently hydrated all year long.

Lawns
- Quantity: Use 35 grams of Solid Rain® for every 10 square feet.
- Season: Apply during aeration in fall or spring.
- Application instructions: Mix with sand/fine screened mulch followed with seed/topper before spreading. Apply after grading or leveling and before mulch mix/screened compost that the sod is laid on.


Bushes, plants and trees
- Quantity:
- 1 gallon uses 10 grams
- 5 gallons uses 25 grams
- 15 gallons uses 45 grams
- 25 gallons uses 60 grams
- 36” box requires 100 grams
- 48” box requires 125 grams
- Season: Year-round
- Application instructions: Apply at install or trenching at the drip line down to 10” on established plants and trees.
Raised or in-ground garden beds
Raised beds
- Quantity: Use 35 grams of Solid Rain per cubic foot of soil in the top 8” of your garden bed.
- Season: Year-round
- Application instructions: Amend into the soil in a wheelbarrow or on the ground.
In-ground garden
- Quantity: Use 40 grams of Solid Rain® for every 10 square feet for leafy greens, tomatoes, peppers, corn, okra. Use 60 grams for every 10 square feet for larger plants.
- Season: Year-round
- Application instructions: Seed sown crops sow into soil about 2-3” deep.
